I work in a variety of mediums and the outcome of my practice is experimental film and photography. My work is based around the exploration of different characters and the physical landscape around them. I am interested in the discarding of identity, the instability and inter-changeability of the self and the interior power struggle between these various selves. I see the distorted double as an ominous projection of what we cannot control about ourselves. I want to explore the psychology of the characters by physicalizing them in the landscape and echoing the interchangeability of elements of the characters with the interchangeability of different spaces. Images derived from one landscape are copied and transferred to another. With reconstructions of the body and the space I construct intertwined reflections of the performers and the location, merging them together.
